Ernie and Sue Martin
Ernie Martin, Engineer

I have been involved in music since I was 9 years old and this is the third studio that I have operated. Sue has been very supportive, and helpful in the whole operation.

Joel Key

The New River Band

Joel Key currently travels full time with Karen Peck, and the New River Band. Joel is one of the smoothest lead guitar pickers I've heard. He also plays acoustic guitar, mandolin and fiddle. Joel usually is appointed lead producer when he's in a session, as he is very artistic in arrangements and chart writing. I am glad to have Joel on our staff band.

Dale Scragg

Dale Scragg is a full time musician. He has been playing drums since age 11 and playing on recording sessions since 1990. One of the finest drummers I have had the privilege of knowing, and working with. He can adapt to any style of playing.

Carl Williams, Jr.

The Bishops

Instrumentalist Carl Williams, Jr. originally joined the Bishops in 1985, shortly after the group's formation, and remained with the group for four years. Junior returned to the group in 1996 to play bass guitar, rhythm guitar, mandolin, banjo and electric guitar.

Chris Key

The Keys

Chris formerly played piano full time for the Bishops. Now he has rejoined his family group, The Keys. He is very familiar with studio session work, and adapts well to any style of music. He plays piano, dobro, drums, and orchestration.

Keith Barkley

The Barkleys

Keith Barkley is part of a full time family group traveling weekly. He has played piano since he was 9 years old, and also plays midi piano, bass, drums & orchestration.

Greg Jones

Greg Jones currently plays for the Renfro Valley Staff Band, located in Mt Vernon, Kentucky.
Along with pedal steel, Greg also plays dobro, and lead guitar. An exceptional, fine musician; able to adapt to any style of music. We are very fortunate in having Greg on our staff.
